**The Role**
We are looking for an **Credit Risk MI, Loss Forecasting & Profitability** to be part of this amazing fast-growing Fintech. At Clip He/She will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and ensuring the soundness of credit decisions. He/She will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain the company's risk portfolio while delivering a seamless and efficient lending experience to our customers.
**What will I be doing?**
- Calculate and analyze the results of the IFRS 9 provision model and ensure full compliance and regulatory allowances.
- Establish a recurring process for loss forecasting and monitor the portfolio deviation results.
- Understand, analyze, and establish a profitability process capable of driving the risk-return metrics of the company.
- Prepare regular reports on credit portfolio performance, risk exposure, segmentation and key metrics for management and stakeholders.
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of risk within the lending portfolio.
- Monitor performance and generate insights for risk strategies.
- Prepare executive reports for recurring committees and meetings.
- Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, operations, and customer support, to provide insights and recommendations for improving the lending process and customer experience.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and industry standards, ensuring all lending activities are in compliance with local and national regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Sciencies, Finance, Economics, or a Related Field (Master's degree preferred).
- 2 or more years of experience in credit and collection management information.
- Proficiency in loss provision and loss forecasting.
- Knowledge of Mexican financial regulations and lending practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
