The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center, known by its Spanish acronym, CIMMYT®, is a not-for-profit agricultural research for development organization with partners in over 100 countries.
CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of Digital Content Coordinator to manage the content presented on social networks to ensure user interaction and loyalty and contribute to the development of communication strategies.
**This position is strictly temporary, for 6 months.**
The position is based at CIMMYT's campus in Texcoco, State of Mexico, located 45 km northeast of Mexico City, Mexico.
**Specific Duties**:
- Plan cyber mobilization actions according to the objectives of the program and the communication plan of the Outreach area.
- Suggest improvements to present weekly and monthly reports on social media messages and campaigns.
- Assist in the survey of the behavior of social networks and digital platforms.
- Organizing and permanently storing the image bank.
- Capture, editing and generation of informative materials for various channels.
- Daily writing and publication of messages and graphic materials (photos or videos) on institutional Facebook and Twitter accounts.
- Participate as support in the audiovisual documentation of strategic activities and events..
- Generation of statistical reports on institutional campaigns on digital platforms.
- Development, assembly and publication of weekly newsletter
- Other activities as requested by supervisor.
**Requirements**:
**Required academic qualifications, skills, and attitudes**:
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years in similar positions.
- Expert in social media positioning.
- Strong knowledge of digital analytics and metrics platforms.
- Intermediate use of design tools.
- Excellent writing and spelling.
- Knowledge in SEO and social media.
- Advanced level in MS Office, specifically in Excel and Power Point.
- Intermediate level of English (written and conversational). English will be evaluated.
