**Specific duties**:
- Carry out specific studies for the analysis and integrated assessment of small-scale farming systems.
- Develop reports, scientific articles, and communication materials covering the systems analysis methods and tools employed and the results generated through systems analysis.
- Documenting methods, datasets and other activities related to research activities to provide reproducible and traceable procedures under established quality standards.
- Assist project team in publication of research results.
- Contribute to the update and training of research knowledge and techniques of the rest of the staff who collaborate in the Program and keep updated on new research techniques or processes.
- Assists in the different activities that will be carried out during project stages.
- Collaborate in the research activities carried out in different stages of projects assigned in other research Units.
- Report to your immediate supervisor any abnormal situations that arise in the project's development for the correction.
- Collaborate in the attention of scientists and visitors to the Program.
- Other related activities that may be assigned by the supervisor.
**Requirements**:
- Ability to analyze to compile and manage large datasets.
- Good knowledge of multivariate analyses and proficiency in R-software.
- Experience in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods for analysis and reporting.
- Proven experience in participatory research and groundwork for data collection, management, and curation.
- Writing skills for several audience's levels of complexity for results divulgation.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and training, with sensibility of the social characteristics of the group.
- Sufficient competency to use the standard Windows-based software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations.
- Intermediate or high level of English (written and conversational).
