For more information, visit cimmyt.OrgSpecific duties:Manage timely and accurate processing of Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets, including document review, vendor setup, invoice processing, petty cash, checks issuance, expense allocation, central filing, and record all fixed asset transactionsOversee VAT refunds and liaise with the Mexican Ministry of TreasuryConduct annual fixed assets inventory at HQ, Experimental Stations, and Regional OfficesMaintain and manage ERP's Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets modulesEnsure accurate coding of expenditures and improve workflows and proceduresCoordinate monthly accounting closing, including accruals, reconciliations, KPIs, and financial analysisValidate and track audit informationEnsure compliance with local and foreign regulationsImplement and improve internal controls, policies, and performance measurementsSupervise and develop staff, providing guidance, issue resolution, priority communication, time management skills enhancement, and trainingProvide excellent customer service, resolving queries promptlyAct as an ERP expert, participating in updates to enhance efficiencyLead accounting-related projectsImplement and support an employee expense reporting toolPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsThe candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related areaThe candidate must have 4 to 5 years of working experience in IFRS and ERP implementationThe selected candidate must count with experience coordinating fixed assets and payable accountsThe candidate must have an advanced level of English, (English test will be tested; candidate must score a minimum of C1 as per CEFR)The candidate must have an advance knowledge of ERP's and Microsoft Office The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Critical thinking, Teamwork, Client Orientation, Problem-Solving decision-making, Negotiation, and Conflict resolutionBenefitsCIMMYT offers an attractive remuneration package and support for continuous professional development
