For more information, visit cimmyt.OrgCIMMYT is seeking a proactive, with attention to the detail, energetic and customer service-oriented professional for the position of Grant Management Analyst to work on the Donor Relations and Fundraising Unit of CIMMYT.**Specific duties**:- Coordinate grant management steps along the project cycle in collaboration with involved units internal and external clients (e.G. Programs, Finance, Legal and Human Resources)- Ensure grant information and records, documentation, and archiving are handled adequately and on timely manner.- Contribute to improvements of the functioning of the department.- Foster relationship with all units and internal clients. E.G Programs, Finance, Legal and Human Resources.- Ensure external and internal audits are conducted properly.- Perform other related tasks within the job level as may be requested by the immediate supervisor.**Requirements**:- A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or Project Management is consider a strong asset.- Additional Certifications or Courses: Specific certifications in project management, or grant administration demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning in the field.- Desirable work experience: 3+ years of experience in grant administration.- Other skills:- Grant Management Knowledge: Practical experience or knowledge in managing grants, including proposal writing, budget, management, compliance with regulations and reporting.- Software and Tool Competency: Proficiency in project management software, financial analysis tools and office software, especially Excel or similar tools.- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal for crafting proposals, reports and maintaining clear and effective communication with all involved parties in the grant management process.- Teamwork: Being able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve objective.- Other Attitudes:- Organization and Attention to detail: to maintain accurate records and be detail-oriented is crucial
