Maa Security Engineer

**Preferred Qualifications**
- BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2 years of software engineering or related experience.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience, preferably Exadata
- Strong desire to grow and improve MAA Exadata Security best practices and solutions. MAA best practices solutions include architecture, configuration and life cycle best practices based on projects, testing and customer and development collaboration.
- Linux operating system and hardware/network knowledge are preferable
- Troubleshooting and administration skills
- Experience with security and compliance a plus! STIG/CIS system hardening, PCI-DSS/FedRamp compliance, Qualys/Nessus vulnerability scanning, CVE/CVSS, NIST/ISO
- Programming skills in Java, Python, bash shell scripting, and/or automation
- Solid communication and collaboration skills are a must

**Detailed Description**
- Under guidance of team lead, design/develop security solutions and troubleshoot/debug security issues for the Exadata platform in regard to the operating system, Ethernet network, Infiniband network, storage servers, certificates, SSH/SSL, cryptography, etc.
