.BASIC FUNCTIONUnder the supervision of the Maintenance Shift Leader, is responsible for executing, following up and complying with the Plant Maintenance plan. The position is responsible for coordinating a group of people in order to meet the corrective and preventive maintenance program.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESAssign daily activities to his team and support team members in daily work-related events and problems.Provide coaching to team leaders.Lead KOS implementation.Support new maintenance practices.Supervise and personally perform repair and maintenance work on equipment and machinery installed in the Plant.Determine the need for equipment and machinery repairs and maintenance by inspection and by review of work orders.Make and maintain all maintenance activity records and periodic reports and/or data.Work with the maintenance planner to determine priorities and an optimum time to perform the corrective and preventive maintenance.Analyze and develop new working techniques to improve maintenance measures with a focus on preventive actions.Assure that all safety and security procedures are followed by the personnel under his responsibility.Ensure all tool and equipment supply for his work area. Keep track of all assigned work orders.Prepare reports, work on special projects, and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Plant Engineering & Maintenance.Comply with the Health and Safety Roles and Responsibilities established for this position (See the annex).Skills/RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:Bachelor's degree.EXPERIENCE:Preference at least one to two years' experience in general maintenance.FORMATION:Preference working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based software applications. Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in the various building, equipment, and machinery maintenance specialties, including electrical, control, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanic.
