Join us as a Maintenance Coordinator.Job SummaryThe Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and administering the maintenance of equipment, machinery, facilities, and services in general, to achieve compliance with production schedules on all operating lines. This role ensures compliance with internal, customer, corporate, and IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain a comprehensive maintenance program encompassing predictive, preventive, and corrective measures, and carry out work planning, including how, when, and where maintenance will be executed, measured through a schedule of work orders.Lead the implementation of predictive maintenance and TPM.Develop and modify maintenance standard work instructions.Manage maintenance staff efficiently to reduce equipment downtime, ensuring the operation of production lines, contributing to productivity, safety, and quality, while eliminating risks in operations.Identify areas of opportunity in equipment and maintenance personnel and take actions to resolve them.Support the implementation of new equipment and acceptance checklists.Drive the implementation of maintenance continuous improvement processes to create a Lean Manufacturing environment.Propose and manage improvement projects from beginning to end, including scoping and managing large capital investment projects.Collaborate with other departments to prepare scopes of work, including project requirements, milestones, deliverables, end products, and documents.Define levels of critical spare parts usage and maintenance to reduce costs and downtime, ensuring well-managed parts inventory.Comply with maintenance financial standards by contributing to the development of the departmental annual budget, monitoring expenses, and implementing corrective actions.Manage and develop technical service providers to ensure expected quality, cost, and services.Job Requirements and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related fieldFluency in EnglishAvailability to travel; passport or travel documentation/visa (preferably)Willingness to relocate (Ramos Arizpe, Coah.)Previous experience in a similar position/industry (at least 2-3 years)Experience in the metalworking industryRequired experience in maintenance of forklifts, steel coil lengthwise slitter/multi-blanking lines, overhead cranes, trackmobile, etc
