Job DescriptionIt is an important position to work in our new greenfield facility in Mexico to learn and support the development of our new plant in Mexico.
In the Contitech, a Continental sector, you will coordinate and follow up on all product and process industrialization to meet the business case, project budget, and production targets (e.g., reduce scrap and waste, cycle times). Furthermore, the PPI Coordinator initiates and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all product and process industrialization relevant processes.
You will be responsible for transferring the available know-how from other plants worldwide to the new plant, in a very challenging environment with a motivated team.

Manage and coordinate all facility management activities for the plant.
Translate plant facility management strategy into action plans and ensure implementation.
Contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit (e.g., investments, capacity, and headcount planning).
Ensure the achievement of facility management targets according to internal and external customer expectations.
Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities by applying CBS methods and training measures.
Initiate and control investments for facility equipment (e.g., energy supply, steam generation, emission treatment).
Interface with segment, BU or BA functions to gather local facility management requirements and feedback.
Participate in and/or steer global or local facility management-related and cross-functional projects.
Conduct employee dialogues, personnel development, and coaching.Financial Management:
Prepare, review, and manage the budget and forecast of facility management cost centers.
Ensure timely submission of financial data to controlling.
Implement and conduct activities according to the established budget.
Ensure that the financial goals are met.Facility Management:
Plan and implement investments for building equipment and infrastructure according to standards.
Ensure installation, start-up, validation, operation, and improvement of all building equipment and infrastructure according to standards.
Plan and implement building equipment and infrastructure maintenance (mechanical, electrical) according to standards.
Operate workshops and support prototype realization and testing according to standards.
Perform space management in cooperation with Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM).
Ensure implementation of internal facility management standards (e.g., technical building equipment, KPIs).
Promote sustainable energy initiatives and project concepts to management.Facility Service:
Ensure performance of facility services (e.g., cleaning services, postal services, internal courier services, canteen services) according to standards.
Optimize and control the spare parts management and maintenance of buildings and utilities.Training and Coaching:
Ensure the availability of qualified employees for the facility management function in cooperation with plant HR.
Initiate and control the continuous qualification of facility management employees in cooperation with plant HR.Monitoring and Reporting:
Ensure facility management (KPI) monitoring and reporting in cooperation with plant management and controlling.
Initiate and control measures to improve facility management performance.Standardization:
Ensure local implementation of central Facility Management standards.
Provide feedback and input for further development of standards regarding facility management processes.QualificationsProfessional Experience: 5 or more years of professional experience in various facility management functions, for production machinery and building equipment.Cross-functional experience in engineering preferred.Experience in maintenance planning & scheduling (PM) using SAP PM.Experience in managing projects.3 or more years in a leadership position, with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals.Proficient in a minimum of 2 languages; English and Spanish are mandatory.Company DescriptionContinental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
