Meet, measure and improve the established Technical Availability, MTBF and MTTR and cost objectives, complying with BW's standards and work policies.
- Manage technical and human resources to keep equipment, tools and machinery available to meet customer requirements on time, with the required quality at the minimum applicable cost.
- Demonstrate by example positive leadership in a manner consistent with the principles of the organization and in a consistent manner by proactively fulfilling their responsibility on a daily basis.
- Maintain and improve quality in maintenance work.
- Execute maintenance budget and support in cost improvement.
- Timely fulfillment of preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance in addition to any other commitments to the customer (production).
- Request timely technical support to service departments by escalating risk notification according to the determined escalation pyramid.
- Daily compliance of operation disciplines according to the daily standard task of the maintenance technicians.
- Participates as a manager in the monitoring of the systems: quality, environmental, safety and C-TPAT management.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining maintenance procedures and routines for all equipment on existing production lines through SAP.
- Ensures availability of spare parts for manufacturing and support equipment.
- Responsible for operator training in TPM and autonomous maintenance.
- Actively works on actions to maintain and improve plant maintenance KPI's.
- Ensures the availability and proper use of tools, spare parts and hardware required for production machinery.
- Drives costs within expectations and promotes improvement initiatives.
- Actively participates in preparing the building and utilities to receive new equipment.
- Ensure equipment adherence to ergonomic and JSA safety guidelines.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement.
- Follow up on IATF guidelines and audit process.
- Utilizes problem solving, Rapid Response and Root Cause Analysis methodology.
- Supports and coordinates employee training in specific technical level areas.
- Responsible for the areas of: facilities, controls and maintenance.
