Vinventions manufacturer of aluminum screw caps and corks for the wine bottle industry in ROSARITO, Baja California. Directing the different activities of corrective and preventive maintenance of the different equipment of the company. Help to create and implement the autonomous Maintenance effort. ? Position Responsibility 1. (E) Evaluate processes and equipment to achieve improvements in efficiencies, scrap, delays, and process waste in general. 2. Perform the control and inventory management of spare parts and tools for the department. 3. (E) Manage, coordinate, and track preventive and corrective maintenance plans of production equipment, as well as continuous improvement plans. 4. (E) Prepare and communicate to the management monthly results and update about projects milestones. 5. Develop and track continuous improvement project related to the department. 6. (E) Monitor capex projects from capex request, approvals, budgeting, and achievement, up to project validation. 7. Assist Finance in tracking spendings associated with projects and maintenance spare parts inventory. 8. Management of the import of equipment and parts with logistics department. 9. (E) Create, review, and update the skill/competency matrix. 10. (E) Ensure that the team has a proper training plan and fair evaluation. 11. Help with the implementation of the world-class manufacturing program. 12. (E) Manage and lead the team members. 13. To achieve department goals, create a healthy work atmosphere with your team. 14. Ensure the satisfaction and development of your team members. 15. Monitor Key Performance Indicators of the team. 16. (E) Performance assessment of the personnel's abilities and qualifications 17. Prepare and recommend an annual budget for the department. Track spending and recommend necessary improvements to achieve budgetary objectives.
Experiência y requisitos
Minimal Experience: - 2 years in Maintenance production equipment Process Engineering Managerial positions in Industries. Education: Bachelor in Mechanical, Electronic, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field. English fluid advanced level Visa and able to travel to the USA and Europe if needed. Knowledge of control engineering (Siemens, Allen Brandley PLC) Managing, and leading a technical team. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment Knowledge of maintenance management Advanced computer skills
