It is an important position to work in our new greenfield facility in Mexico to learn and support to develop our new plant in Mexico.
In the Contitech, a Continental sector, you will coordinate and follow up on all product and process industrialization in order to meet the business case, project budget, and its production targets (e.g. reduce scrap and waste, cycle times). Furthermore, the PPI Coordinador initiates and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all product and process industrialization relevant processes.
You will be responsible for transferring the available know-how in other plants worldwide to the new plant, in a very challenging environment with a very motivated team.

General Management and Strategy
- Manage and coordinate all facility management activities for the plant
- Translate plant facility management strategy into action plans and ensure implementation
- Contribute to strategic and operative planning of the plant/operations unit (e.g. with respect to investments, capacity and headcount planning)
- Ensure the achievement of facility management targets according to internal and external customer expectations
- Initiate and control investments for facility equipment (e.g. energy supply, steam generation, emission treatment, etc.)
- Interface to segment, BU or BA functions in order to gather local facility management requirements and demands and other feedback
- Participate in and/or steer global or local facility management related and cross-functional projects
- Conduct employee dialogues, personnel development and coaching
Financial Management
- Prepare, review and manage the budget and forecast of facility management cost centers
- Ensure timely submission of financial data to controlling
- Implement and conduct activities according to the budget established
- Ensure that the financial goals are met
Facility Management
- Plan and implement investments for building equipment and infrastructure (all equipment except production and supply chain equipment) according to standards
- Ensure installation, start-up, validation, operation and improvement of all building equipment and infrastructure according to standards
- Plan and implement building equipment and infrastructure maintenance (mechanical, electrical) until building wall (equipment and infrastructure maintenance within buildings is to be done by manufacturing engineering maintenance staff) according to standards
- Operate work shop and support prototype realization and testing according to standards
- Perform space management, i.e. management of physical space inventory e.g. regarding total area, capacity, occupant count, occupancy rate, vacancy rate, planned density, space assignment by occupant/department, vacant seats, open plan/close office percent, etc. in cooperation with Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM)
Ensure implementation of internal facility management standards (e.g. technical building equipment, KPIs, etc.)Energy management perform energy management (e.g. set plant energy reduction roadmap, setup and implement energy reduction projects, etc.) according to standards
- Promote sustainable energy initiatives and project concepts to the management
Facility Service
- Ensure performance of facility services (e.g. cleaning services, postal services, internal courier services, canteen services) according to standards
- Optimize and control the spare parts management and maintenance of buildings and utilities
Training and Coaching
- Ensure the availability of qualified employees for the facility management function in cooperation with plant HR
- Initiate and control the continuous qualification of facility management employees in cooperation with plant HR
Monitoring and Reporting
- Ensure facility management (KPI) monitoring and reporting (e.g. facility operating cost, utilities availability, improvement measures and success, etc.) in cooperation with plant management and controlling
- Initiate and control measures to improve facility management performance
Standardization
- Ensure local implementation of central Facility Management standards
- Provide feedback and input for further development of standards regarding facility management processes (e.g. maintenance concepts, infrastructure equipment, tools, etc.) to segment, BU or BA functions
**Profile**:
Professional Experience
- 5 or more years of professional experience in various facility management functions, for production machinery and building equipment.
- Cross-functional experience e.g. in engineering preferred.
- Experience in maintenance planning & scheduling (PM) using SAP PM.
- Experience in managing projects.
- 3 or more years in a leadership position, in operational units with functional and disciplinary responsibility for other individuals.
