Maintenance Manager
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all maintenance and buildings as well as the machinery.
They are also responsible for the design and control equipment for processes and products.
**Requirements & Qualifications**:
Train and develop maintenance employees to meet current and future business requirements
Coordinate and prioritize buildings & machinery repair, maintenance and projects
Involve input from team members in assigned projects
Review and prioritize work order requests, determine activities required for completion of work and set completion date
Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
Document and prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintenance logs.
Identify and develop cost justifications for equipment and processes, estimating costs and organizing resources
Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance department.
Maintain all machinery to ensure it meets working standards.
Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance program
Participate in ongoing process improvements and implement maintenance procedures.
Oversee spare parts inventory stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary
Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
Utilize computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Plan maintenance activities and determines PM frequencies on a daily, weekly and monthly basis utilizing CMMS and other tools.
Ensure that designated building(s), plant and facilities are fit for purpose
Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair
Responsible for the overview of building and grounds duties, including lawn care, snow removal, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/sprinkler systems, etc.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Degree in engineering orequivalent
Minimum of five years' experience in electrical and programmable controls, maintenance and supervision
Ability to work hands-on in a physically demanding environment, operating machinist's hand tools, manual mills, lathes, saws, drills, welding equipment
Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
