.The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance team in achieving optimal equipment performance, reducing downtime, and improving overall manufacturing efficiency.
This role ensures that all maintenance activities are aligned with Bobcat Company procedures, policies, and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Maintenance ManagementDevelop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and optimize production.Manage and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.Ensure compliance with Bobcat Company's maintenance procedures, policies, and quality standards.Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any performance issues.Communication and CollaborationCollaborate with production management to ensure effective communication and coordination between maintenance and production teams.Provide regular updates on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any issues that may impact production.Work closely with other departments, such as quality and engineering, to ensure alignment and effective problem-solving.Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintenance processes and procedures.Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Develop and implement plans to reduce maintenance costs, improve efficiency, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness.Safety and QualityEnsure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.Implement and maintain a quality management system that meets Bobcat Company's standards.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.Requirements:Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a related field (e.G., mechanical engineering, industrial technology)Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing environmentProven track record of success in leading maintenance teams and improving equipment performance.Skills and KnowledgeStrong knowledge of maintenance management principles, practices, and proceduresExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and other maintenance software.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
