As a core member of the Technical Function team, the Maintenance Manager is a proven leader to oversee the Maintenance department in our location in Reynosa, Mexico (US$ 400 million revenue).
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company's facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum efficient operations of our machinery and equipment as well as monitoring the safety of our equipment. The duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and robotic / automation equipment.
This position reports to the Technical Function Manager in Reynosa, Mexico.
Core area of responsibility: Plant, direct, and monitor preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities so that the organization's machinery, and equipment operate reliablyPlan, prioritize, schedule, and manage maintenance activities to rectify break-downs and malfunctions and minimize business disruptionsDevelop and implement repair and maintenance proceduresMonitor the cost effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve timeliness, reliability, and safety standardsResearch, evaluate, and recommend new maintenance equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the maintenance teamEvaluate, select, and manage relationships with contractors to minimize costs and ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of serviceLiaise with managers throughout the company to coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with their operationsPrepare work orders and monitor the progress of work against estimatesLead, direct, evaluate, and develop maintenance staff so repair and service activities are completed accurately, safely, and on-timeTo work according to the I.M.S.
