Job Description: Summary: Assures the continuous production process support and follow up on continuous improvement projects through our Envista Business System to achieve a higher productivity, efficiency, and maintaining the equipment uptime above the desired goal. Makes sure the implemented projects are sustained and improve.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Works with a sense of urgency to maintain the equipment up and running to fulfill our daily production goals.Optimize OEE and makes sure the equipment up-time is above the goal.Problem solve major failures and escalate with the vendor if needed.Provide support to the technicians' team through instructions, training, and hands-on demonstration.Create and update troubleshooting procedures.Prevent downtime through Preventive Maintenance.Cost reduction initiatives.Work in synergy with Process Engineer.Perform routine predictive and preventive maintenance.Provide support and assistance to other engineers and technicians as needed.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures on industrial equipment including CNC machines, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems in a timely and efficient manner.Identify cost reduction opportunities and facilitate their implementation.Collaborate in safety and quality remediation projects on equipment and work to mitigate any possible impact on the process.Foster a collaborative environment through Envista's CIRCLe values.Job Requirements: Education/Experience/Requirements: Minimum 3 years of industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience repairing machines, equipment, and hydraulics.Knowledge in troubleshooting electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, and PLC controls.Experience in preventive maintenance.Experience working in or supporting a complex manufacturing facility.Sense of urgency, proactive, self-driven, strong organization, and analytical thinker.Ability to guide and motivate a team to bring them to higher standards.Able to read and understand mechanical/electrical schematics in English.Preferred Qualifications: Haas CNC experience.Preferred Requirements: OpEx or Industry 4.0 experience.Knowledge of 3D printing technology or automation.Travel: Approximately 10% or more travel in North America.Operating Company: Ormco
