**Responsibilities**:
**Objective**:
The objective of the position is to ensure the availability and useful life of the equipment, guaranteeing that the installation and/or preventive and corrective maintenance works to plant and machinery are carried out in the shortest possible time, maximizing the available human and economic resources, as well as ensuring that the activities of the maintenance personnel are carried out safely and smoothly, facilitating the needs required for the fulfillment of the global and specific objectives.
**Main activities**:
- Establishes the annual preventive maintenance program for service facilities and plant machinery to avoid unnecessary shutdowns through a diagnosis of critical and repetitive failures derived from historical maintenance information presented during the previous period, information that is stored in the database on a monthly basis.
- Facilitates, evaluates and follows up the installation activities and preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant and machinery, assigning human and technical resources for the execution of the tasks.
- Plan, designate and supervise maintenance activities taking into account the scope, capabilities, tasks and responsibilities required, as well as assess the risks of the environment by assigning the appropriate technical personnel for a safe activity.
- Verify that the forms established in the PM and CM program are properly filled out, as well as all types of records entered in the system and inform the areas and people involved.
- Release machinery after maintenance verifying that it is in proper operating conditions, notify the responsible production personnel, deliver the machinery and work areas tidy and clean.
- Ensures that safety devices installed on machinery are in proper condition and working properly after maintenance has been performed.
Analyzes and reports periodically the activities of the area to the Maintenance Manager; submits reports to the concerned areas, as well as to his work team. Makes the necessary adjustments to achieve the established objectives.
Qualifications:
**Required knowledge**:
- Proficiency in industrial processes, machinery and tooling.
- Knowledge and experience in TPM and continuous improvement practices.
- Corrective, Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Management.
- Tribology.
- Knowledge and experience in root cause analysis to identify machinery failures.
- PLC programming Allen Bradley, Siemens, RS Logix 5000.Direct Soft, Mitsubishi etc.
- Programming and maintenance of variable speed drives.
- Knowledge of Lean Maintenance.
- Knowledge of maintenance and programming of CNC equipment.
- Knowledge in systems: Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Industrial Electricity, Electronics.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting tools;
- Intermediate-Advanced English
- Proficiency in Excel at intermediate-advanced level.
