We at Therma-Tru are currently seeking a **Maintenance Supervisor** in our high-volume H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico Glass plant. Recognized as a top area employer, you can build your dream career at Therma-Tru in our engaged, performance-driven culture.
You as a Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the planning and organization of your work team's activities, giving priority to those tasks that require immediate attention and ensuring that they are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
- Organize and assign workflow and ensuring employees understand their duties or delegated work tasks.
- Assessing the work performance of the team and identifying any areas that need improvement.
- Analyze and make decisions on critical equipment failures.
- Ensure that productive and peripheral equipment is working 100% avoiding downtime for repairs.
- Coordinates equipment and building improvement projects.
- Maintain the peripheral equipment of the plant (air conditioners, compressors, chillers, fire protection system, building, etc.) in operating condition.
- Supervises the preventive maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Manage the purchase of materials necessary for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Coordinates preventive maintenance programs.
- Maintain the inventory of key pieces of equipment (Maximum and Minimum).
- Lead daily meetings of the maintenance team (communication).
**Qualifications**
- 3-5 years of experience & associate degree.
- Experience in personnel management.
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
- Experience in industrial electrical installations,
- Knowledge in interpretation of pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, single-line diagrams.
- Knowledge of welding,plc, substations, fire-fighting systems.
- Experience in failure analysis with electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic equipment.
- MS Office & Computer system skills
- Decision-making "critical thinking"
- English level: Intermediate (Desirable).
