BorgWarner Fuel Systems and Aftermarket is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as a Maintenance Supervisor.
In this role, and under direct supervision of the Maintenance Coordinator, the Maintenance Supervisor will assurance the availability of the company's assets through the correct coordination of the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance plan with the related areas.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Elaborate and keep updated the register of critical equipment.
- Elaborate and keep updated the registry of critical spare parts and ensure that they are registered in the MRO warehouse registry.
- Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the personnel in charge, maintaining at all times the discipline to the internal work regulations and customer service.
- Supervise and validate the compliance and quality of preventive maintenance of the personnel in charge.
- Manage the acquisition of spare parts requested by the staff under your charge.
- Provide technical support to the personnel in charge in accordance with the maintenance escalation procedure.
- Analyze and improve on a weekly basis with the personnel in charge the performance of the KPIs of the assigned lines and generate corrective and/or preventive actions that ensure compliance with the objectives.
- Manage the incidents of the personnel in charge (overtime, vacations and soft aspects)
- Management and control of hazardous waste generated in their daily work according to the standard and scope defined by the EHS department.
- Actively participate in the Annual Final Inventory.
- Be part of the fire brigade.
- Flexibility and schedule availability.
- Customer service attitude.
- Participation in maintenance Fast Response (KPIs, compliance with MC and MP working hours, as well as execution of action plans).
- Analysis and solution of problems (Root Cause).
- Continuous participation in continuous improvement workshops.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Mechanical Engineer and/or Electrician, Electronics, technical career, or related career.
- Time of experience in a similar position: 3 years or more in a similar position.
- Technical knowledge required: Electrical installations, Mechanics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical control, electronic torque systems, Industrial electronics, PLC, Control systems through servomechanisms, Sensors and transducers, Scanners and vision systems, Algorithms and programming logic, Maintenance to industrial machinery / TPM, knowledge of CNC lathes.
- Other Knowledge: Microsoft Office, SAP.
- English: Desirable.
