**Position Overview**:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of all machinery, equipment, and assembly lines essential for production.
**Responsibilities**:
1. **Team Management**:
- Responsible for a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring they have the necessary resources to perform their jobs efficiently.
2. **Equipment Maintenance**:
- Regular maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, conduct inspections, and coordinate repairs as needed.
3. **Troubleshooting**:
- When machinery malfunctions occur, lead the troubleshooting efforts to identify the root cause of the problem and develop solutions to resolve it promptly.
4. **Safety Compliance**:
- Safety regulations are paramount. Ensure that maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols to protect both workers and equipment.
5. **Budget Management**:
- Responsible for managing the maintenance budget, including allocating funds for repairs, spare parts, and equipment upgrades.
6. **Training and Development**:
- Continuous training and skill development for your team to stay updated on new technologies and best practices in maintenance.
7. **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inspection reports, is crucial for tracking performance and compliance.
8. **Continuous Improvement**:
- Strive for efficiency and productivity improvements. Analyze maintenance processes and suggest improvements to optimize equipment performance and reduce costs.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in manufacturing assembly operations, with at least 5 years in a Maintenance supervisory or leadership role, preferably a tier 1 Automotive Supplier.
- Thorough knowledge of assembly equipment, quality control methods, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
