Job DescriptionYour role: As a Technology Lead, you will work on the maintenance and support of critical applications for a leading Global Financial Services firm.Required:Minimum 7+ years of experience in Application Support in Unix, SQL & UNIX scriptingKnowledge of ITIL processes: Incident Management & Problem ManagementKnowledge of any Object-Oriented Programming language & debugging skillsExcellent communication and analytical skillsPreferred:Experience in Sybase / DB2 / RDBMSExperience with Java / PythonExperience with job scheduler (e.G., Autosys)Experience with Ticketing tool / JIRAExperience with IDE is a plusRole Description:Work actively with team members to analyze and resolve application issues.Incident Management (Incident resolution, stakeholder communication, bridge management, postmortem analysis, and action items)User Ticket management (Backlog review, User interface and manual prioritization)Support BCP (Business Continuity Planning), Migration, Holiday activities.Coordinate release and post-release support and handoverImplement bug fixes, minor enhancements, etc.Identify defects/discrepancies to determine root causes by debugging or analyzing logs.Improve application stability by observing patterns, recurring alerts, or issues for permanent fixes or automation.Personal Attributes:High analytical skillsA high degree of initiative and flexibilityHigh customer orientationHigh quality awarenessExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbout Infosys:Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting.
