.Job description: Infosys is seeking a Java Production Support Analyst. A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required.At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology is necessary.Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience in Core Java, J2EE, and RDBMS (Oracle / Sybase / DB2 / SQL Server / PostgreSQL).At least 4 years of experience in application support, production support / L3 support, maintenance, and analysis.At least 4 years of experience in the software development life cycle and the ability to read and understand application logs.Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects is required. Experience in the Financial Services domain is preferred.Good exposure to Unix commands and Shell scripting skills is necessary. Experience with version control systems such as GIT, CI/CD Pipeline, Splunk, etc. is also required.SQL production support, with good knowledge of scripting, joins, queries, indexes, etc. Basic knowledge of Unix commands for production support is essential.Required: Good communication skills (English), analytical and problem-solving skills.Role Description: Implement bug and coding fixes. Work actively with team members to enhance, analyze, and resolve application issues. Identify defects/discrepancies to identify the root cause by debugging or analyzing logs.Improve application stability by observing patterns, recurring alerts, or issues for permanent fixes or automation.
