Scope of leadership role
Position Summary:
Manages financial risks, financial planning and forecasting within a specific business unit or function including compliance with all financial record-keeping requirements. May also manage other finance disciplines including general accounting. Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports. Manages general accounting function(s) and team responsible for the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances, and other financial results for a plant or business. Manages team responsible for the close process including balance sheets, profit and loss statements. May be responsible for closing capital/fixed asset sub-ledgers and other responsibilities associated with capital/fixed assets. May manage accountants responsible for cost accounting and/or fixed asset accounting activities. May lead cost accounting and/or fixed asset accounting projects at various times of year. Implements processes and controls to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policies. Makes recommendations to drive business strategy and results. Leads projects in targeted improvement areas.

- Administrator of Hyperion for Mexico and consolidation of financial statements in Hyperion
- for 8 legal entities
- Review and approval of accounting reconciliations for 8 legal entities
- Compliance with internal controls and SOX
- Mexican fixed asset management for 6 legal entities
- Mexican treasury management, disbursements, investments, income for 8 legal entities
- PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to do tactical reporting, data mining, and critical analysis.
- Digital media management.
- Oracle System experience ( desirable )
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Accountant
- Master Degree will be a plus.
- +5 years of experience in similar position.
- Language: English written and spoken +100%
- Leadership, Customer service orientation, Teamwork & Cooperation, Decision Making skills
