Manager, Advanced Purchasing

PURCHASING OF DIRECT AND INDIRECT MATERIALS- Manages the plant purchasing procer components and raw materials, and supervises activir buyers, including but not limited to contracts, piece price negotiation, terms and conditions, planning of volume requirements, MRP transmission resolution of, delivery and cost issues.- Manages the plant purchasing procer the acquisition of indirect materials, and supervises the overall activity on contracts, volume requirements, price negotiation and localization.MATERIAL COST IMPROVEMENT PROCESS- Manages the overall Material Cost Improvement Process (MCIP), Material Expenses improvement process (MEIT), and IMCIP (Indirect material cost improvement process).- Coordinates the execution of MCIP/IMCIP/MEIT initiatives with the plant APUs, tnctions and the Change Implementation Leadr the plant.- Implement Standard processes to develop, capture and review the progress on the initiatives towardsreduction in prir indirect materials (IMCIP).- Defines and execute a specific strater localization of components and raw materials.- Participate in issues related to environmental, health and safety systems.- Has responsibility to comply with guidelines, policies and procedures related to safety, environment and internal control.Internal Use Only:SalaryGlobal Terms of Use and Privacy StatementCarefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
