Join us as we revolutionize kidney care and other vital organ support.*Completion of the proposed separation of Kidney Care from Baxter into a standalone company (to be named Vantive) remains subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.Reporting to our Associate Director, Communications – Americas Kidney Care, you will help tell our story in new, innovative ways through traditional, social media, and owned channels.The Manager, Communications - Latin America Kidney Care is a newly created and critical role based in Mexico City, leading communications strategy and supporting the Latin America business.Working closely with regional commercial leadership, government affairs, marketing, and global communications colleagues, the role will be a key driver of shaping our new brand with important stakeholders.What you'll be doing:Lead media relations and manage crisis communication in the region, including pitching and securing media placements, developing press releases to promote key achievements and events, and crafting key messages and other materials to guide our response to inquiries.Serve as the key media contact and regional spokesperson for the organization in partnership with the General Manager and regional leadership.Partner closely with the government affairs team to craft communications around policy development and increase patient access to life-saving therapies.Develop strategy and messaging that showcases thought leadership, therapy access, community support and investment and innovation.Partner with HR and other key business functions to support the internal communication strategy and drive business impact.Work closely with Marketing teams to identify key opportunities to deploy public affairs strategies that have a measurable impact.Work in partnership with employee-led community engagement teams, government affairs and medical affairs to build and strengthen relationships with critical partners, advocates, NGOs, and academics to advocate for patient interests.Serve as the strategic advisor to the local leadership team on communications issues and opportunities in the region.Develop robust approaches and guidelines to support safe, ethical, and compliant communications and public engagement
