**Role Purpose**
The Field Marketing Manager is a digital marketer that is responsible for strategic execution of hotel-level marketing strategies and initiatives for our managed and franchised hotels.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Work alongside the MLAC Field Marketing team to execute the digital marketing scope of services to drive incremental, profitable revenue and meet the business targets of the individual properties
- Execute and deliver marketing activities to hotels, working closely with the Field Marketing team, Digital Marketing teams with Global Marketing Shared Services and Field Marketing, Commercial, Sales, Revenue Management, Operations, agencies, and other market-specific teams
- Accountable for keeping track of and executing marketing activities and delivering marketing scope
- Demonstrate project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale marketing projects from conception through implementation and evaluation.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff. Ability to develop and present data-driven recommendations successfully, promotes items persuasively, and shapes the opinions of others.
- Demonstrate knowledge of multiple brand process management, including research methodology and design (basic measurement and statistics).
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles and concepts.
- Demonstrate ability to maintain a consistent, high quality customer-focused orientation, including providing clear, accurate information; explaining procedures or materials or providing supplemental information; anticipating problems or questions.
- Demonstrate appreciation and understanding of consumer and intermediaries and ability to develop consumer understanding based on research and existing trends.
- Execute updates to content and photography on hotel website Stay up to speed on digital media best practices, trends, and tools
**Key Skills & Experiences**
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
Experience
- Eight or more years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position including direct marketing or database marketing experience.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Familiarity with direct marketing and analytics techniques and systems (campaign management processes and analysis).
- Experience with test-and-learn scenarios and planning matrices, execution in both on and offline channels.
- Firm grasp of relational database concepts.
- Ability to work in an integrated creative environment and to translate customer analytics output into insight for development of creative briefs.
- Ability to direct creative process (es) to build compelling messaging and creative concepts.
- Experience in handling sensitive consumer data such as financial records a plus.
- Experience with identifying marketing opportunities utilizing third party information.
- Extremely detail oriented, highly organized with excellent time management skills and a technical aptitude.
- Team player with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on problem solving.
- Multi-lingual skills a plus
