We seek the active contribution of everyone, with respect for the individual, the environment and the community.Job summary:Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller whose office is located at EXFO Group's head office in Canada, you will be responsible for ensuring that the financial statements of the Mexican company are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. You will also have to control the work of the accounting consulting firm; that is to say, to ensure that it is carried out rigorously and on time. Through your resourcefulness, autonomy and critical thinking, you will also be called upon to take an active part in the continuous improvement of the Mexican company's accounting processes.What you'll do:Based full-time in the Queretaro factory;Review the various journal entries in the general ledger and ensure their compliance;Review monthly bank reconciliations;Ensure that intercompany accounts are balanced at the end of the month;Monitor cash flow on a bi-monthly basis;Perform and review monthly budget variation analyses;Improve the monitoring of fixed assets at the accounting level;Oversee communications between the company and the government and understand the various fiscal finance issues;Collaborate with the head office team for any relevant information request;Implement and maintain a proper internal control system in accordance with EXFO standards;Ensure rigorous monitoring of accounts payable and expense reports in collaboration with the accounting firm;Ensure compliance of supporting documentation, including obtaining appropriate approvals;Coordinate and be part of process improvement;Any other procedures necessary for the preparation of the financial statements.If necessary, you will perform any other tasks that may fall within the scope of this job. You will have to communicate in English with your colleagues based outside of Mexico.
