About the RoleThe Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing & Category Management will be part of the Global Strategic Sourcing team. This is a new individual contributor role for our team, managing Marketing category spend. You will collaborate with leaders and operators across the company to provide cost savings, positively impact free cash flow & improve speed to execution. Examples of subcategories to be supported include: Creative services, Social Media, Influencer, Production, Analytics, Media and Martech.
You will report into the Senior Manager, Marketing Sourcing on our Global Strategic Sourcing team in our Finance organization. You will work in a hybrid model, going onsite to a local DoorDash office in Mexico City.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…Lead global sourcing (RFx) projects, negotiate deals (MSAs/SOWs), and manage a sizable spend across a broad range of Marketing subcategories.Influence, educate and manage internal partners on best practices for sourcing and contracting towards long-term solutions.Benchmark and facilitate best practices, analyze and monitor compliance; drive improvements through reporting and recommendations.Review and drive execution of contracts with a focus on commercial terms: pricing, payment terms, volume commitments, rebates, etc; liaise with the legal team in the execution of agreements.We're excited about you because you have…5+ years of experience in a strategic sourcing/category management role for indirect categories with experience in Marketing sourcing managing a range of spend categories.
