**Manager, Human Rights - México**:

- Reporting organisationally to the Executive Director of Stakeholder Relations of FIFA26 MEX, the Human Rights Manager will be a key member of the FIFA26 Strategy & Planning team, and work in close collaboration with the FIFA26 Sustainability & Human Rights team in Miami, The HR Manager will play a key role in addressing the social impact, including to labor rights, anti-discrimination, accessibility and safeguarding, while being the liaison for other HR topics of FWC2026 between Mexico and the other two Host Countries.**THE POSITION**:

- The main responsibility of the role is to manage the FWC2026 human rights programs in Mexico, support the wider FWC2026 human rights team in relevant programs across the three host nations, and be the Mexico-based liaison for other sustainability-related topics. This includes:
- Help develop and oversee programs to address particular FWC2026-related human rights topics, challenges, and opportunities in Mexico
- Lead the engagement with FWC2026 Host City Human Rights Focal Points in Mexico around the human rights efforts within their areas of responsibility and collaborate with the wider FWC2026 human rights team with Host City engagements in the United States and Canada
- Engage local and national human rights stakeholders in Mexico, including governmental and non-governmental actors.
- Liaise between local and national stakeholders related to other sustainability-related topics and the team members responsible for those topics based in the United States.
- Support FIFA and FIFA26 Inc. in the handling of grievances, complaints, and campaigns related to FWC2026 in Mexico
- Track and assist with reporting on human rights impacts of FWC2026 in Mexico
- Advise FIFA and FIFA26 Inc. on Mexico's evolving human rights regulatory and political landscape.
- Support broader FIFA and FIFA26 Inc. in sustainability and human rights planning and operational efforts

**YOUR PROFILE**:
**Minimum requirements**
- Bachelor's degree is required and a Masters' Degree or similar higher education qualifications in the area of human rights, sustainability, or similar is preferred.
- At least five years of professional experience in the field of business and human rights, including work on labor rights issues in Mexico, handling relations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong knowledge of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and Mexican legislation related to human rights

**Preferred additional experience**:

- Experience in the field of sport, ideally in connection with mega-sporting events
- Experience in the areas of anti-discrimination, accessibility, and safeguarding
- Experience in the field of environmental and economic sustainability
- International work experience, particularly in the United States and Mexico, with multicultural teams
- Experience processing grievances as part of an operational-level grievance mechanism
