Overview:
STATEMENT:
The E&C Manager I will be responsible to support the Global Ethics and Compliance Program for MX Region developing and implementing global, and regional policies. Under the supervision of México Regional Ethics and Compliance Sr. Manager this role will act as a business partner, to provide training and communication to help ensure that the Region complies with the Corporate HN Compliance Program, through the activities: Anticorruption guidelines, Corporate Code of Business Conduct, Conflict of Interest, ECO Ambassador program, Investigations, Vendor Risk activities as well as laws & regulations, assist the México Sr. Mgr. evaluating ethics and compliance issues/concerns within the MX Region and support to help ensure coordination with other departments to align compliance activities; and assist with detecting violations of the Code of Conduct, related FCPA policies and procedures, as well as relevant company policies and procedures.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage third party risks through due diligence: as this role will include conducting interviews, reviewing, and analyzing diligence reports, exercising professional skepticism, and monitoring invoices or implementing other compensating controls.
2. Responsible for Training and Education program
3. Conduct Internal investigations (interviews, document review, etc.)
4. Monitor, identify, audit, and assess potential risks, and recommending corrective action to mitigate risk.
5. Help to prevent and detect violations of laws, regulations, the Code, and related internal controls and policies.
6. Promote and enforce a culture of ethics and compliance in accordance with the Code, Ethics and Compliance Program, regulatory guidelines and consistently through appropriate incentives and disciplinary measures.
7. Disseminate information about the content and operation of the Compliance Program and exercising reasonable oversight with respect to the implementation and effectiveness of the Program.
8. Work in conjunction with functional departments leadership to empower managers and staff to conduct business ethically and provides tools and resources such as training and education on the Code, policies, procedures, awareness campaigns.
9. Communicate openly and create adequate channels for employees and agents to report or seek guidance about potential or actual misconduct without fear of reprisal or retaliation
10. Manage confidential and anonymous reporting mechanisms and documenting enforcement with reports including resolutions.
11. Propose corrective actions/steps to be taken to address substantiated misconduct from an investigation and could include, for example, termination of an employee or remedial improvements to an internal control to avoid further noncompliance.

Skills:

- Strong knowledge and analysis of accounting/finance data as a source of information for evaluating potential risks

Languages:

- +9 years work experience, preferred minimum 5 years in compliance related.
