Overview:
Responsible of the total production ensuring the achievement of programmed goals adhering to the costs and budgets, quality standards and established quantities. To this end: directs a certain number of Supervisors; formulates and recommends manufacturing policies and programmes; directs and coordinates production activities, monitors the efficiency of direct and indirect work and machinery and/or equipment; It is a decisive part in the preparation of is instrumental in the preparation of manufacturing programs and coordinates the solution of manufacturing problems with other areas of the Company. Maintains the necessary documentation.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Manage performance of Production Supervisors
2. Is responsible for achieving production goals by model
3. Is responsible for the efficiency of direct and indirect work
4. Is responsible for administration and labor requirements
5. It is responsible for the control of the overtime of direct and indirect labor
6. It is responsible for the reduction and control of waste material (scrap)
7. Share responsibility with Quality Control and Manufacturing Engineers for Quality and FPY goals
8. Is responsible for communicating machinery, equipment and tooling needs to the Manufacturing Engineer
9. It is responsible for safety, order and cleanliness in productive areas
10. It is responsible for keeping the work instructions and procedures related to the quality system (ISO-9000) updated.
Qualifications:
- Industrial Engineering Career completed
- 10 Years Experience in manufacturing environment
- English 85%
- Assembly Processes, Line Balancing, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis to Problem Solving.
- Leadership and Supervision,
- Excellent human relations,
- Excellent ability to communicate at all levels,
- Ability to work in a team.
