The team works closely with multiple business partners to determine the most compelling pricing structure to encourage merchant acceptance of American Express, while striving to improve coverage and merchant satisfaction. We drive merchant revenue and profit growth through customer-centric pricing principles, more effective and flexible pricing architecture and innovative pricing solutions.The Manager, LAC Pricing is a key role in the market and requires knowledge of all aspects of the merchant business. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage our merchant discount revenue and other merchant revenue streams that maximizes the strategic value of our premium network. This role also supports and drives pricing initiatives across the market with the goals of volume generation, enhancing efficiency, driving merchant satisfaction and retention.Responsibilities:Support forecasting efforts, including monthly variance analysis and reporting.Develop pricing strategies based on quantitative data analytics and provide recommendations on key financial / commercial terms during merchant negotiations.Evaluate business cases for various merchant pricing scenarios, model P&L impacts, and perform sensitivity analyses to drive agile business decisions.Draw merchant-specific insights from internal data (transactions, merchant profiles, etc.) and external data (analyst reports, industry research, etc.) to identify key opportunities and challenges during a negotiation.Support overall pricing strategies across all merchant segments.Lead cross-functional teams to manage and implement all aspects of the pricing process including pricing approvals, contract reviews and pricing audits
