And then you start going into the details of that role specific to managing and overseeing your compliance with Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in addition, conducting internal audits to keep identified noncompliance issues from becoming a problem while also working through any customs authority requests. It is also the responsibility of the coordinator to train staff on customs regulations and compliance protocols while keeping current with legislation, as well as ensuring all documentation is correct and complete in order not to be fined or penalized. This position requires strong regulatory knowledge, so previous working experience withing a regulated industry is necessary.**Responsibilities**1. _Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant customs laws and regulations. _2. Coordination of Free Trade Agreement paperwork and monitoring to make sure it is up-to-date3. Develop and monitor KPIs.4. Conduct OEA, CTPAT, Fixed Assets, Record Keeping Audits5. _Conduct internal audits to identify and address potential compliance issues proactively. _6.
