**Overview**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery processes.- Manage and monitor supply chain operations, including transportation, customs,warehousing, and distribution.- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics.- Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are accurate and goods are stored correctly.- Analyze and optimize logístical processes, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.- Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and third-party service providers.- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.- Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control across logistics operations.- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals (3PL), providing training and guidance.- Utilize logistics software to monitor, track, and report on the flow of goods.- Resolve any issues related to transportation, shipping delays, or inventory discrepancies.- Prepare and present logistics performance reports to senior management.
**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar logistics role.- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.- Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.G., SAP, WMS, TMS).- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Strong communication and negotiation skills.- Leadership and team management experience.- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the logistics industry.- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
**Preferred Skills**:Experience with international shipping and customs regulations.Knowledge of lean logistics practices
