Responsible for facility, equipment; ensuring that it is maintained and functioning at or better than design specifications. Participate in plant safety efforts and actions, including maintaining a safe and clean environment. Responsible for employee training and development to include, maintenance personnel, and in some cases, production personnel. Process improvements, to include but not limited to, preparation of project papers, C.A.P. Expenditures and management of projects to completion. General functions of management, including cost, quality, production, reporting, customer service, efficiency metrics, discipline, motivation, etc.QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree or engineering.Requires at least 8 years related experience.Experience in durable manufacturing plant preferably in an HVAC or similar appliance industry preferred.Demonstrated skill in the development, implementation, and utilization of CMM systems preferred.Previous fabrication experience required.Tool and die experience preferred.Minimum of 3 to 5 years previous supervisory experience required.Demonstrated computer skills (Microsoft Office) and e-mail required. Knowledge of SAP desired.Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated planning and organizational ability.Demonstrated working knowledge of lean principles.Previous Kaizen experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to work with hourly and salaried employees as a team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
