.**POSITION**:Manager of Stories and Journeys**RESPONSIBLE TO**:Director of Organizational Giving**SALARY**:$65,508 - $79,310**SCHEDULE**:80% remote / 20% on-site / one day a week in office**DEVELOPMENT TEAM OBJECTIVE**: You will support PPRM's programs by raising private gifts from individuals, foundations, companies, local governments, and other sources.**THE OBJECTIVE**: While supporting the vision, mission, goals and values of Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, you will be an integral part of communicating the organization's impact to further our supporters' connection to PPRM and advance our mission. You will help develop and implement a storytelling pipeline to capture the critical work PPRM is doing across its region and share those stories in creative and compelling ways for prospects, donors, and other partners.**SUCESS**: You will know you are successful after creating and implementing an effective methodology for collecting and cataloging stories from PPRM's many stakeholders and constituents. You will have strong relationships and naturally collaborate with colleagues across the organization to leverage diverse knowledge and expertise and to capture the impact of our programs. You will develop these messages into compelling "journeys" for PPRM's donors to experience and gain a deeper understanding of PPRM's work.**SNAPSHOT**:You will listen to stories and unearth connections that have not yet been discovered. Teaming with gift officers and development leadership, the majority of your time will be spent discovering new stories and connections, learning about PPRM's various donor personas, and designing and delivering customized journeys for those personas.You will decide where and how these stories should be shared, bridging together the storyteller, marketing, and culture communications. You'll listen more than you talk, and you'll know which probing questions to ask to get the heart of the story. You may attend meetings and events before and after business hours and may work some evenings and weekends. You will travel throughout our affiliate region regularly via video interaction and occasionally in person.**QUALIFICATIONS**:- You are an enthusiastic and dedicated team player with the ability to support PPRM's mission.- You have 3 years of experience in communications, journalism, or a related field.- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and consistently practice ethical communication, in fact you demonstrate a passion for story, narrative structure, and the creative arts. Persuasive and emotive writing is your wheelhouse.- You have the ability to synthesize complex content into essential, compelling messages for a range of mediums including one-pagers, reports, newsletters, case statements, proposals, and video.- Photography and/or videography experience is a definite plus, and you also have a great eye for design
