.Leading manufacturer and designer of custom protective and specialty packaging products requests:**Manager Operational Excellence****Objectives of the position**:**Key requirements**:- Optimize ERP effectiveness with focus on plant structure, build of material and perpetual inventory (product costing)- Diligently participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects.. (IT, IT Plataforms, ERP)- Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value added activities in the process.- Drive and standardize the identified best practices based on the accord timelines across Mexico region.- Conduct Industrial Engineering, lean and six sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of Lean Continuous Improvement culture throughout the organization- Provide all operations with real time data analysis and solutions to optimize the operations to improve safety results, KPI's, and financial results.- Lead initiatives throughout the Region to improve plant performance including Operational Excellence Audits, Monthly Divisional Reviews, Monthly Plant Visits and others as required.- Track, document, maintain, and ensure site KPI's, wins, trends, training, initiative completion, and other metrics to ensure optimization of the business.- Document, and communicate division 'best practice' principles, expectations and solutions.**Qualifications and Requirements**:- 5+ years in manufacturing (packaging preferred)- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar- Experience managing projects, tasks, dead-lines, and priorities in a fast-paced organization.- Exhibits critical thinking and problem-solving skills with demonstrated role model skill in software use, computer literacy and communication/customer service.- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as facilitate team-based working sessions managing multiple priorities.- Solid understanding of the production process- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.- Ability to provide direct and actionable feedback.- Proven success with developing people and teams- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communications; relationship building as well as presentation skills to present project concepts and manager change at all levels within the company.- Highly skilled in use of productivity tools- Knowledge and experience in Lean Culture, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Industrial Processes- Advanced spoken and written english- Availability to travel: Travel will be frequent and primarily within the Mexico Division. Out-of-area and overnight travel will be expected. The job operates 50% of the time in the various plant locations throughout Mexico. 50% of the time will be in a professional office environment
