**Job Title**Manager Operations Accounting**Position Purpose**The Accounting Manager is responsible of ensuring that all transactions are duly and timely recorded in books according to MX and US GAAP standards as well as e- accounting rules in Mexico.
This position is responsible of developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed accurately for Corporate financial statements reportings.
This position addresses tight deadlines including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year end audit preparation and balance sheet integrity to ensure no financial risks.
**Primary Accountabilities**:- Reviews and ensures Intercompany transactions among Group entities are properly recorded and reconciled in the General Ledger.
Also, ensures Intercompany invoicing and Transfer pricing studies.
Works closely with Tax and Treasury teams to meet IC cashflow needs.- Leads and coordinates Store's Tenders reconciliations and Stores' cash management reviews to mitigate discrepancies and inaccurate Financial Statements balances.
Provides process improvement recommendations to reduce expenses, losses and bad practices.- Supports Commercial Credit Team with Bad Debt analysis, Doubtful Balances transfers within Peoplesoft System.
Supports and guides Cash Applications team to verify all AR transactions comply with accounting, fiscal and internal control requirements.- Works with IT, Finance and BI teams to report and correct system transactions failures, Sales interfase integrity and Journals interfase.
Coordinates sales invoicing solutions for errors to comply with electronic accounting.
Also, supervises and ensures Invoicing for Other Income activities.- Maintains proper internal controls and compliance with corporate policies, USGAAP and NIF accounting requirements.
Also ensures sustainability of the functions by documenting and reviewing the activities performed by the team from a SOX perspective.- Leads finance internal projects affecting accounting processes and actively participate in cross functional projects that affect the accounting.- Recruit, motivate, develop and set expectations to the team members in order to maximize their capabilities and support sucession planning purposes contributing to the internal finance talent pipeline.

Assists other departments with accounting and electronic accounting implications of day to day, ordinary and extraordinary transactions.
**Education & Experience**Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Finance and Accounting.
A master degree will be a plus.Years of Experience: More than seven years.Type of Experience: Transactional Accounting, Billing/Inovicing and Intercompany experience in a multinational group.
