If you're looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join GSC HSBC and discover how valued you'll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Regulatory Conduct Assessor****Role purpose**:Regulatory Affairs & Policy (RAP) Roles ensure the effective management of dealings with regulators, regulatory developments affecting the Bank, or in development and implementation of Regulatory Compliance (RC) policy. Early identification and assessment of regulatory developments and their potential impact to the bank is a key activity.The remit may range from a small geographic area/country to global for a Function or Global Business Line**Main activities**:- Providing support to the Regulatory Affairs and Policy Team to ensure that the Group maintains a comprehensive record of all material regulatory engagement globally in respect of both Regulatory Compliance ("RC") and Financial Crime Risk ("FCR"). "Regulatory Engagement" for these purposes includes meetings, visits, reviews, thematic work, investigations, enforcement activities, reporting, information provision, correspondence and similar, and whether of a regular, recurring or ad hoc nature- Liaise with regulators and Global/Regional/Country/business line RAP teams, Businesses and Functions to arrange and diarise an extensive schedule of meetings between HSBC staff and relevant regulators- Arrange the logistics in respect of regulatory engagements as required e.G. setting up audio/video conference calls, booking meeting rooms, registering external guests, chasing agendas, distributing meeting papers etc.- Assist the team with record management, including uploading documents provided to regulators to a key document management repository, owning/maintaining the electronic file structure, uploading documents, and maintaining SharePoint sites- Provide other ad hoc administrative/support tasks as required- Discharge the relevant accountabilities as set out in the Group Standards Manual and Compliance FIM**Requirements**:**Knowledge & Experience**- Good command of both oral and written English.- Attention to details and good analytical skills.- Strong interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain relationships.- Utilizes own initiative to resolve issues. Ability to support decisions with sound reasoning.- Fast learner - Able to understand new regulations, systems, business concepts etc.- Excellent time management and prioritization of tasks.- Flexibility to work in different shifts.- Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, Tax Compliance, Legal Risk Steward is necessary.- This is an Individual Contributor role- Maintain good relationship with stakeholders- Open to ideas and balanced decision making¡You'll achieve more when you join HSBC!**Issued by HSBC Electronic Data Processing (México) Private LTD
