The Tax Professional - Medium/Small Firms Sales Development Team Manager leads a team of Sales Development reps (SDRs) who are tasked with providing warm lead opportunities to Reps on the Tax and Content Pursuit Teams within the New Sales org.
**About the Role**In this opportunity as a **Manager, Sales Development**,** you will:- Responsible for attaining assigned lead targets.- Provides weekly update to New Sales Lead and ensures that team is performing through weekly individual rep reviews.- Performance manages the team for increased results.
This includes ensuring that activity levels by the SDRs on the team are at acceptable levels.- Timely compliance with any required internal paperwork and understands internal policies relating to employee expectations- Shows initiative and looks for efficiency gains within their team- Handles customer escalations as necessary- Shares best practices with other sales leaders so that the entire organization is constantly improving- Reviews leads submitted by team for quality assurance- Looks for opportunities to increase employee engagement through team contests and challenges- Works with Marketing to ensure there are not duplicate efforts occurring- Deliver organizational lead targets to help ensure overall team success- Delivers leads for both the Tax Pursuit and Content Pursuit Teams- Ensures team is properly using the CRM to record activity and status of firms within their territory.
Ensures their team is using sales efficiency tools where applicable to aid in hitting targets- Focus on their team's skills and abilities, ensures that they are actively coaching reps on a day to day basis and that any skills gaps within their team are identified and addressed- Makes sure their teams knowledge of the industry is constantly improving**About You**You're a fit for the role if your background includes:- Experience leading a Sales Team- Track record of success selling products to Tax Professionals is preferred.- Planning and goal setting with individual reps..- Strong understanding of Tax Professional customers and their business model and workflows.- Strong product knowledge.
