.Position SummaryThe Sales Manager is responsible for organizing our sales team to deliver order results for pumps, parts, and service as assigned in the annual budget by the company for Mexico. This includes assigning objectives and tasks to our sales team according to their competencies to achieve our goals, as well as reporting results, forecasts, and market conditions to the STL monthly, along with customer satisfaction or concerns.Essential ResponsibilitiesOrganize the sales team according to the competencies of each individual to deliver optimal results.Assign clear objectives and actions to engineers to achieve annual goals.Evaluate individual performance according to objectives and provide guidance for improvement.Report results and forecasts to STL monthly.Report on strategic projects, market intelligence, and customer experience to STL monthly.Review selling opportunities in the market with engineers using the IRR tool.Provide technical and commercial guidance for proposals.Review proposals technically and commercially before submission to customers and distributors.Track and follow up with customers to know the status of each proposal.Visit customers weekly with sales staff to address technical and commercial questions.Request higher-level technical support, lead-times, and competitive multipliers for strategic projects.Attend kickoff meetings with customers and operations for new orders.Review and approve new purchase orders for order entry.Participate in conferences, lectures, and training sessions conducted by the company.Assist sales engineers in product presentations for customers.Organize biweekly sales meetings with specific information on active proposals.Participate in monthly sales conferences with distributors.Engage in Vertical and Horizontal API project meetings with the USA monthly.Review e-quote log reports and ensure proposals are updated biweekly.Support the team in warranty claims according to internal policy.Assist the credit department with collection issues from customers.Evaluate and approve competencies of candidates for the sales department when needed.Coordinate trips for engineers for client visits as required.Track expenses in the sales department and report monthly savings.Comply with official regulations and company requirements for the HSE program.Perform other functions assigned by the immediate supervisor, not covered in this job description.Position RequirementsEDUCATION:Engineer with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields.EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years in similar positions.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:Knowledge of different markets, product portfolio, applications, customer requirements, and competition.Technical knowledge related to centrifugal and twin-screw pump applications across all markets.Proficiency in English (written and spoken) at 90% or higher.Understanding of product knowledge and programs for handling proposals
