This takes hard work and innovation, and we need more like-minded people on our team.The Sales Manager is responsible for the relationship of current customers and the generation of new leads through prospecting different potential customers within risk acceptance criteria to meet origination, revenue and services to meet goals.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerate new business & share of wallet opportunities with customers and prospects. Identify needs and develop proposals with Element's value-added services. Coordinate end-to-end sales processes for new customer onboarding (this will include risk underwriting process, customer visits, contract negotiation, and implementation process).Accountable for the overall relationship management of assigned clients. Primary point of contact. Coordinate internal areas to meet day-to-day or new requirements. Meet clients to maintain and grow business relationships. Oversee line renewals and legal changes.New products & services introduction with existing clients to enhance profitability. Presentation of new products to prospects and clients once rolled out.Responsible for the development, planning, and execution of a strategic account plan, including coordinating with strategic consulting projects and business reviews.Identify and articulate best practices within the industry. Demonstrated analytical ability, critical reasoning, and strategic thinking in order to generate loyalty with customers.Education and ExperienceDesirable 5+ years of relevant business experience; Post-Secondary Education preferred BA/BS. MBA is a plus.Proficient in English language is a must (both written and oral).Experience within the vehicle management or a related financial/asset-based industry is preferred, desired among trucking industry.Willingness to travel up to 10% of time depending on client portfolio and sales events.Willingness to learn and capable of adjusting to a fast-paced & changing environment.Strong communication skills (oral and written), influencing, and relationship-building skills.World-class negotiation skills with a proven track record of success.Strong customer focus with superior levels of customer satisfaction.Capable of negotiating with C-levels.Knowledge and CompetenciesA solid understanding of leasing, rates, terms, financing alternatives, billing, vehicle expense reporting, service cards, and the proven ability to service and sell to all levels within a client's organization
