DescriptionThe Manager, Supply Chain Planning focuses on short, mid, and long-range supply and capacity planning, and is responsible for developing and implementing processes, action plans and supply and capacity models in a multi-site, multi-supplier environment ensuring capacity and supply is available on time, and used effectively, while optimizing cost, and maximizing internal and external Customer satisfaction.
The incumbent identifies areas to increase understanding of the business and proactively generates and drives action plans to manage the full cycle of problem solving, including identification of opportunities through systemic techniques, and implementation of end-to-end solutions to achieve improvements and efficiencies gains.
The position requires a dynamic and self-motivated team member. The right candidate demonstrates excellent cross-functional leadership, success in influencing a wide spectrum of stakeholders and detail understanding of supply and capacity planning across the semiconductor manufacturing footprint including internal and external manufacturing.
Critical experience includes development, implementation, and management of capacity models, demonstrated capacity improvements, anticipation of cross functional business requirements, customer focus attitude, P&L improvements, management of large amount of data in complex and dynamic manufacturing and supply chain environments and successful achievement of targeted business results.
Job ResponsibilitiesFrontend Operating Plans: Define factory run rates, inventory levels, capacity allocations. Monitor factory execution and deviations to plan.Short, mid, and long-term supply and capacity plans: Long term strategic plans and short-mid-long term monthly S&OP supply and capacity plans. Ensure accurate master data is used to generate supply plans, capacities are aligned, and gaps are resolved.Customer specific long-term plans: Generate long term capacity plans and supply responses to support Customer forecasts.NPI BOMs: Collaborate with Business Units, Engineering groups and other stakeholders to define appropriate technologies for NPI BOMs based on the optimum supply chain configuration, pricing, technology and product strategy, and available capacity.Manage companywide MRP policy and production risk process: Benchmark, maintain and monitor adherence to policies and systems.Maintain and document build ahead policies and data in coordination with Demand Management.Measure and identify capacity gaps and provide options to mitigate, manage and improve.Track, report and manage use of allocated capacity and available supply.Ensure provided capacity is used to develop executable master production schedules in accordance with demand needs and inventory guidelines as well as capacity requirements are clear to drive appropriated levels of Capex.Prepare analysis and recommendations to transfer products to optimize supply and capacity.QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or a related discipline. Master's is a plus.10+ years supply chain experience in a combination of supply planning, demand planning, data analytics, and internal/external manufacturing planning.Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Preferred SAP.Experience developing and using capacity models in a manufacturing environment.Experience with S&OP, S&OE, JIT, MRP, lean manufacturing.Strong proficiency with Microsoft programs.Bi-lingual Spanish and English.Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).Preferred Qualifications Experience designing, implementing, and using principles, concepts, practices and standards in a configure-to-order and an engineer-to-order environments with heavy NPI activity.Knowledgeable in value stream mapping, process workflows, and associated documentation.Familiarity with visualization tools such Power BI.Experience using Kinaxis Rapid Response.APICS certification.Advance understanding of database management, SQL, Python.Skyworks is proud to be an equal opportunity employer supporting diversity in the workplace.
