As part of Football Club, the ultimate purpose of this team is to be a catalyst for meaningful and impactful innovation and change. It's going to work in support and evolution of the overall EA SPORTS FC business and teams and its goal is to provide the technological and experiential capabilities to build the Football Club of tomorrow.
You will craft user Interfaces through modern user experience practices as a part of our central XD discipline. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and approaches them with systematic thinking, understanding of player motivations, and rigor. **Responsibilities**:
- Represent Experience Design within the project and ensure consistency standards of Visual Craft & UI
- Lead and mentor 4-6 person experience design team.
- Evaluate, advocate, and shape end-to-end experiences establishing thoughtful design solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and accessible.
- Partner with Game Design, Production, Art, Engineering, User Research defining priorities, roadmap, and planning.
- Leverage existing design documentation standards and seek improvements in documentation, principles, design output.
- Expert knowledge of design systems and how they are applied in a product
- Organizing and briefing teammates, partners, etc., on concepts and tasks
- Advocate for design excellence, craftsmanship, accessibility, and usability.
- Expert knowledge of modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and other relevant tools
**Qualifications**:
- 6+ years of experience as a Lead or a Senior Experience Designer, Product Designer, or similar roles and passion for interactive gaming experiences.
- Stellar portfolio with detailed case studies across relevant platforms (work showing problem discovery, detailed design solution, including supporting prototypes, behaviors, rationale).
- Expert level understanding of visual psychology, organizing principles, layouts, composition, typography, color theory, and accessibility.
- Advanced understanding of design strategy and how it supports user goals and business needs.
- Collaborative mindset; ability to participate in a transparent and learning culture within the team.
- You understand the importance of providing and soliciting feedback in a graceful, constructive manner, with suggestions and solutions for improvement to both the process and the project.
- You have strong written and verbal communication.
- You are empathetic and able to inspire optimism and positivity within your team.
- You are comfortable working with varying levels of the organization and collaborating with team leaders across the franchise.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.
BASE SALARY RANGES
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $113,300 - $171,700 USD Annually
- New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $111,500 - $171,700 USD Annually
- Jersey City, NJ:
º $126,700 - $171,700 USD Annually
- Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $111,500 - $144,000 USD Annually
- Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $111,500 - $157,300 USD Annually
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $93,700 - $143,700 CAN Annually
