The Chemicals pricing team, responsible for key pricing benchmarks, is a dynamic, people-first team that prizes effective collaboration and strong inter- and intra-team relationships.**The Role**: We are seeking a Managing Editor to lead the US-based chemicals price reporting team, part of the Americas Chemicals price reporting team, based in our Houston office.We are looking for a leader who is driven by results, and is willing to guide, mentor and motivate a team of editors responsible for publishing assessments, high-quality market content, and developing Platts chemicals assessments in the US across liquid chemicals, polymers and recycled plastics.As a manager, you will empower and encourage individuals to realize their highest potential and be capable of leading and adapting to the needs of a diverse team. You will lead market reporting, collaborate with functional groups internally to drive consistent execution of Platts methodology and price assessments, and engage with external market sources to explain, evolve and refine methodology.You will identify, develop, and execute assessment opportunities to drive growth in chemical markets.
