As the largest independent pump rebuilder in the world, Hydro's provided engineering expertise, pump repair and support services to the industry since 1969.**JOB SUMMARY**:The Manual Machinist is responsible for modification, and operation of industrial large manual machines for pump spares/parts to precise specifications. The Manual Machinist develops and maintains parts utilizing knowledge of metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.- Ability to machine large parts on equipment such as: Vertical Turret Lathes and/or Manual Lathes.- Experienced in machining pump components such as cases, impellers, wear-rings, bearing housings, covers.- Must be able to hold very close tolerances (+/- 0.001").- Experience in plane and bore of horizontal pump casings is a plus.- Machining custom parts for a variety of pumps- Sufficient mathematical skills are required to compute angle's, radii, bolt circles and other dimensions.- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.- Experience or willing to learn the horizontal boring mill machine and line boring is desired.- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a manual machinist is required.**EDUCATION**:- Baccalaureate or Licenciatura Degree or Post-Secondary Diploma or Post Secondary Certificate, and three years' experienceWe offer a competitive benefits package, including matching 401k.Come join us!Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: A partir de $454.00 la horaHoras previstas: 40 por semanaHorario:- Horas extra- Incluye fines de semana- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro de la vista- Seguro dental- Seguro de vida- Vacaciones adicionales o permisos con goce de sueldoExperiência:- Manual Machining: 5 años (Obligatorio)- Pump industry: 5 años (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo remoto
