We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer Sr to join our team specialized in MANUFACTURING for our Power Sistems Team in San Luis Potosí, S.L.P, MEXICO
In this role, you will have an impact in the following ways:
- Leads the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and systems while leading and co-leading teams.
- Leads the work for specific projects to create and implement all aspects of a manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met.
- Impacts the work by utilizing continuous improvement tools, following the Cummins standards, and leading the development of manufacturing standards and working methods.
- Leads the communications with and influences key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members.
- Works with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.
- Leads the advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices as they are applied to Cummins.
- Maintains relationships and coaches key stakeholders.
To be successful in this position, you will need the following:
- Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineer or similar.
- Experience in implementing Machine Guarding
- Installation of new lines, test equipment, coveyours, electric and pneumatic tools, supplies, etc.
- New, upgrade or replacement equipment.
- Improve the efficiency of the lines based on Lean & OE practices.
- Documentation of processes, implementation and updating.
- Implementation of PFMEA, Flowcharts, Critical Process Paths, Cycle Times and Tack Times.
- Machinery Protection.
- Resolution of quality problems.
- Intermediate level AutoCAD user.
- Management of RFAs and Purchase Orders.
- English: Advanced (Conversational)
