To keep it simple: every product we sell, every service we provide, and everything in between.**Purpose**:Assist NPI team staff in monitoring/executing specific programs.**Responsibilities**:- Manage overall NPI program scheduling and activity tracking for specific NPI programs, including development of a detailed master project management schedule.- Update the project management plan, track progress, identify potential delay issues, and resolve issues with the team in a timely manner.- Schedule meetings and facilitate meetings as needed.- Document activities and issues that come up in meetings and distribute them to internal and external team members.- Track progress of NPI Gateway checklist items and compile supporting documentation- Develop with the NPI Team leader presentation for the Gateway Reviews.- Assist NPI Team Leader with timely creation of key NPI documentation: customer and business requirements, program, and technical specifications, etc.- Work with NPI buyers to ensure correct parts and quantities are available for all phases of engineering builds, pre-production builds, and first months of production.- Drive continuous improvement in the efficiency of the NPI team by identifying and recommending new approaches, policies and standard operating procedures.- Resolve internal problems by taking ownership of the problems, strategizing with affected departments, and selecting and implementing solutions.- Ensure a smooth and timely transfer to production at product launch.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited engineering curriculum- General knowledge of process requirements- Experience - 1+ years of project management- The ability to effectively develop and manage project plans from concept to production- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and process partners- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft office (Microsoft Project)- Intermediate / advanced English**FINAL DETAILS**:**All qualified individuals, including minorities, women, and people with disabilities, are encouraged to apply.****The Caterpillar Code of Conduct states that we will select, and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.
