Molex offers over 100,000 products across a variety of industries, including data communications, medical, industrial, automotive and consumer electronics.What You Will Do In Your Role**The Manufacturing Assembly Superintendent** will be in charge of mnaging production, being responsible for weekly compliance with the production plan.
Optimizes the Production System Its main indicators are Safety, 5S' OEE and POEE.
Manage manufacturing processes from the perspective of quality and process assurance.
Coordinates and supports the Manufacturing Engineers in the assembly area.
Manages the operating personnel hiring plans according to demands and transfers.
Meet the needs of the area to meet the Manufacturing and Quality KPIs.
**What You Will Do In Your Role**:**Requirements**:- Responsible for personnel administration activities (Assembly Engineers, production operators, technicians and group leaders), Supervise assistance, permits, memos, administrative interactions, use of PPE, as well as keep them informed of any event in the company; in order to pass said information to Human Resources for handling.- Coordinate activities for the staff according to the line balance and engineering documentation, consulting MII for orders according to priorities, in order to positively impact sales metrics.- Communication and coordination with the Set-Up technicians and team Leaders for the correct operation of the production lines through the assembly engineers.- Supervise and develop a training plan so that the staff works in the correct way to optimize their performance and performance.- Coordinate production activities between the different shifts, communicating if there are pending orders and providing the necessary information to guarantee compliance with metrics.- Participate and support all activities related to the improvement of processes, quality, Human Resources, etc.- Send daily status report of each of the areas, in order to keep everyone involved in the process informed (Managers, Production Planners, Leaders of all shifts, etc.)
Propose improvements to reduce downtimes.- Continue with EHS regulations to meet the goal of zero accidents.
Comply with the different Quality Management standards, with the aim of achieving zero QN's Contribute to compliance with the MBM Philosophy.- Develop a culture where the 5's guidelines are followed.- Perform other related functions assigned by management.- Supply the necessary resources and tools to meet production metrics.- Communication and coordination with the maintenance department to schedule preventive corrections, optimizing production times, indicating the points to improve in the process
