Additive Manufacturing (AM) is a digital technology that builds objects layer by layer. AM part of that program is the development machinery spare parts with the global standardization approval process, before the implementation in our production machinery.

Additive Manufacturing gives us many benefits throughout the value chain:
- Functionality - due to its unique layer-by-layer characteristic, AM enables new functionality in Flex Equipment that might reduce the need for sophisticated assemblies and eventually reduce cost. The lightweight parts that we make have also been confirmed to reduce production stops in robots and by that increase efficiency.
- Leadtime - establishing a multi-site setup, will enable the on demand production and will potentially eliminate the need to transport around the globe (reducing costs and growing responsiveness).
- Cost - The actual cost of material and the fact we only use material where needed (due to the additive processes) reduces the total cost of the equipment. AM also reduces waste, as there is no material removal due to a subtractive process.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Support the framework for healthy work conditions.
- Fused Deposition Modeling and Selective Laser Sintering machine operation process
- Preventive and Corrective maintenance.
- 5's on the area
- Build procedures and visual aids
- Contact with suppliers and contractors
- Cross-functional and cross-site knowledge sharing
- Cooperation with all local and global departments
- Leader and participant of global forums
- Molding drawing 2D & 3D (NX Software)
- Raw material handling
**Do you have what it takes?**:
- 3 years on NPI & Engineering Area
- Additive Manufacturing basic knowledge

**Note: This position is based at our LEGO Operaciones de Mexico manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores, NL This is not a remote position**
